CPTSD triggers and disenfranchised grief are examples of obstacles many women, including myself, confront daily. Without the right support tools in place, these impediments can relentlessly imbalance wellbeing and interrupt focus on mindful living. In pairing the study of spiritual practices (Tao, QiGong, Reiki, Yoga & Pilates) with sensory practices (photography & contemporary crafting) I recognized how individuals can define and refine their own creative coping alchemy in sync with the paradigms of health in complementary & alternative medicine.
Sincere gratitude to Helpful Changes, Special Olympics, Ideal-Way, LHSC, Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, Autism Ontario London Chapter, London Abused Women’s Centre, Fanshawe's CICE Program, UWO, Children's Aid Society, PPOC, Women’s Rural Resource Centre, anova, and JENN Photography for their years of goodwill.
Composing photography for self expression has been my go to creative coping tool for over 35 years.
