CPTSD and disenfranchised grief know how to imbalance my wellbeing & mindful living, often & without notice. Pairing spiritual practices such as Tao, QiGong, Reiki, Yoga & Pilates with sensory practices such as photography & contemporary crafting, has allowed me to form a healthy, continually evolving, creative coping alchemy.
Why share this? When my health shifted & I could no longer remain in the workforce, I had no idea how to redefine my life. This site is a visual journal for me, of moving forward even when it doesn't feel like I am. Sharing the creative and mindful activities I use for surviving & thriving may open a door for someone else in the process of enhancing their own coping toolbox.
You are welcome to follow my blog or Instagram as I explore, express & evolve from a place of simplicity, patience & compassion.
Sincere gratitude to Helpful Changes, Special Olympics, Ideal-Way, LHSC, Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, Autism Ontario London Chapter, London Abused Women’s Centre, Fanshawe's CICE Program, UWO, Children's Aid Society, PPOC, Anova and JENN Photography for their years of goodwill.
Composing photography for self expression has been my go to creative coping tool for over 35 years.
